Gwyneth Paltrow's diet plan and recipes she shared in "It's All Good" came about after she restructured her eating habits following her doctor's advice to "clear out her system for healing" when it was discovered that she was anemic, vitamin D deficient and her stress levels were too high.

Although Paltrow was already following a relatively healthy diet, she was still required to make some changes to the foods she was eating to improve her health. Her doctor prescribed an elimination diet for clearing out her system that involves not eating a list of foods including coffee, alcohol, dairy, eggs, sugar, wheat, meat, soy and no kind of processed foods.
